Yoga and Meditation Taster Class - Museum in Mind

The museum is delighted to welcome yoga teacher Claire who will be running a regular yoga class at the museum on Thursday mornings from 12 September. You can give it a try at this special taster session for a discounted price of £4.

Claire is passionate about sharing her love of yoga with everyone. She is a fully qualified Dru Yoga teacher and Yoga therapist specialised in back care.
Claire has been teaching adults and children’s yoga since 2011. The ages of her clients range from 4 to 84 - She believes that if you can breathe, you can do yoga. She is fully DBS checked, insured and first aid certified.
Dru Yoga is a flowing style of yoga suitable for all ages and abilities.
This friendly and welcoming class is suitable for all ages and abilities. Using soft flowing movements, the session includes pranayama (breathing exercises) an EBR sequence (energy block release work), asanas (yoga postures) and yoga nidra (guided relaxation). The class will also regularly practice mindfulness and mediation to help you leave with a real sense of calm and wellbeing.
