Date: 10 December 2018 to 14 December 2018
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m.
A specially commissioned exhibition to commemorate the centenary of the end of World War 1.
The People’s story looks at what individuals did in the war and how lives changed. Some young men enlisted to fight in the armed services, some women worked in traditional men’s roles for the first time, and some Cannock Chase coalfield miners had a vital role on the Western Front as tunnellers.
After the war, those who were able, returned to their own communities but life had changed for ever.
