Sailability session

Active Inclusive sessions for children and young people are delivered by qualified, experienced staff. Sessions offer young people the chance to meet new people and have fun in a safe environment.

Dance and Cheerleading (age 5-19 years)

sessions include dance, cheerleading and movement to music activities to allow young people to express their creativity. Open to any young person with physical or sensory impairments, autism and/or learning difficulties.

* Rebound Therapy (age 5 years +)

1-1 sessions on a trampoline to develop social and communication skills as well as core stability, balance and general fitness. Young people will take turns on the trampoline and have the option to work towards Winstrada awards in trampolining. Open to any young person with physical or sensory impairments, autism and/or learning difficulties (hoists are available at some sites if required).

* Rebound Plus (age 5 years +)

Session specifically for those individuals identified within Rebound Therapy programme that are working at Grade 4 or higher. These sessions give young people the chance to further develop their skills on the trampoline.

Wheels for All (age 5-19 years)

Adapted cycling sessions using a range of bikes and trikes (provided) around an athletics track. Sessions are delivered in a safe and secure environment with support from leaders if required. Open to any young person with physical or sensory impairments, autism and/or learning difficulties. Children and young people can also bring their own bike if they would prefer.

Multi Sports (age 5 years +)

these sessions introduce various sports to children and young people, adapting activities where required. Sessions act as a taster into a range of sports, as well as developing agility, balance and coordination skills. Open to any young person with physical or sensory impairments, autism and/or learning difficulties.

Watersports (open age) – sessions delivered in partnership with our Outdoor Adventure team, offering children and young people the chance to try out a variety of watersports activities including kayaking, sailing and bell boating. Open to young people with physical or sensory impairments, autism and/or learning difficulties (currently there is no hoist available at site).

It’s great to see my daughter engaged in activity within a safe environment, where she can be herself and take part in the different activities.
